FEMimpact: Women for Open Data and
Civic Innovation — Project Officially
Launched
On September 5, 2025, the official launch
of the FEMimpact: Women for Open
Data and Civic Innovation project took
place. The project is aimed at developing
the digital and civic competencies of
women from Moldova and Armenia.

support of the European Union through
the Open Government Partnership (OGP)
under the Road4EaP initiative.
Demo Day: “Women-led Digital Solutions Showcase”
was held as a hybrid event for presenting
women-led civic-tech initiatives developed during
the project. It served as a space where participants
showcased digital solutions created through
the Women’s Civic Innovation Lab, combining civic
engagement, digital innovation, and practical
problem-solving.
The event included expert jury
evaluation, public pitching, selection of the top
three projects, and the awarding of implementation
vouchers for further refinement with the support
of digital, design, and legal experts.

The objective is to enhance digital skills for 150 young people and strengthen the technological competence of 50 young entrepreneurs in value-added agriculture, wine, and tourism across five localities in Southern Moldova.
Objective: Strengthen the socio-economic potential and living conditions in Taraclia by addressing environmental issues and creating favorable conditions through educational, technological, and social tools, based on cross-sector collaboration.
