FEMimpact: Women for Open Data and
Civic Innovation — Project Officially
Launched

On September 5, 2025, the official launch
of the FEMimpact: Women for Open
Data and Civic Innovation project took
place. The project is aimed at developing
the digital and civic competencies of
women from Moldova and Armenia.

The project is implemented with the
support of the European Union through
the Open Government Partnership (OGP)
under the Road4EaP initiative.

The Foundation for Innovation and
Sustainable Development, together
with ONG Kanany (Armenia), the Association of
Women of Taraclia
District, and ONG Global Trend Moldova,
has launched the Women’s Civic Innovation Lab
under the project “FEMimpact: Women for Open
Data and Civic Innovation.” The Lab is a space
where women from Moldova and Armenia gain
knowledge and create their own digital solutions,
combining training, open data work, civic-tech
tools, and practical project development up to MVP
and Demo Day.

Development and Implementation of the
FEMIMPACT AI Mentor-Bot

The FEMIMPACT program—funded by the European
Union and supported by the Open Government
Partnership—successfully launched the FEMIMPACT
AI Mentor-Bot.

This innovative tool strengthens women’s digital
and grant-writing skills by providing real-time,
personalized guidance, reducing barriers to expert
knowledge, and improving the effectiveness of
preparing competitive grant applications.

Project “ TEKWILL TARACLIA EXPANSION 2024 - 2025”

The overall objective of the Tekwill Taraclia Development Programs for 2024-2025 is to significantly contribute to Taraclia's economic growth and investment attraction by fostering technological, educational, and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Project “Tech for Tomorrow: Enhancing the Digital Transformation capacities of Youth in Souther of RM”

The objective is to enhance digital skills for 150 young people and strengthen the technological competence of 50 young entrepreneurs in value-added agriculture, wine, and tourism across five localities in Southern Moldova.

Objective: Strengthen the socio-economic potential and living conditions in Taraclia by addressing environmental issues and creating favorable conditions through educational, technological, and social tools, based on cross-sector collaboration.

Project "Creation of technological, social, educational tools for the purpose of Environmental restoration"

The FEMimpact project addresses these challenges by creating
a cross-border community of women and providing them with a
structured program that includes educational modules, mentoring,
and a platform to develop and implement their own digital solutions
based on open data.

It is an anonymous Digital Bot designed to provide
emotional support to pupils 12-16 years old
who are victims of bullying at school.

Project “ e-Learning content development for Tekwill Academy”

The project aims to design and deliver five high-quality e-learning courses in key ICT domains for Tekwill Academy. Each course will be developed in alignment with market demand and emerging digital trends, focusing on practical, skills-based learning.

The content integrates interactive formats, assessments, and real-world applications to ensure learner engagement and measurable outcomes.

Objective: Implementation of agroecological technologies tailored to the smart specialization profiles of the Taraclia and Comrat districts.
